Our Response to COVID-19

To our valued clients,

At Harris, Hardy & Johnstone, P.C., the health and safety of our employees and our clients is of paramount importance. For this reason, we are taking specific precautions to protect our staff and visitors. With confirmed cases reported here in central Virginia, we have considered the potential impact and how to best protect our clients and staff, while still providing an unparalleled experience to both.

Currently, we are closing our office to the public

While the office is closed to the public, we are still open for business. According to the most recent information from the CDC, for most people, the immediate risk of being exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19 is low. We are employing the options below to implement social distancing while still serving our clients in a timely fashion.

Alternative options for exchange of information:

  • Client Portal: Where possible, and to protect both our clients and staff, we encourage you to submit your information via our client portal. There is a link to this portal in the Client Area of our website, located in the upper right-hand area of hhjcpa.com. While meeting with you face-to-face has always been our top choice, and it can certainly alleviate your stress around this time of year, we can accomplish much through the safety of phone calls, emails and secure data transfer.
  • Drop-Off: If you need to drop off information, we are placing a secure drop off box right outside our door for you to place your information. Make sure your information is in a sealed envelope with your name on the outside. Drop off hours are from 8am to 5pm weekdays.

Serving you remotely:

  • As a result of our proactive move to a cloud environment, we are able continue working for our clients even when access to our office is restricted. We want to assure you that our work for you will not be disrupted. Many of our professionals will be working remotely from their homes and will have full access to their office phone line and email.

Thank you for your patience and trust in Harris, Hardy & Johnstone, P.C. during these unprecedented times. If you have any questions or further concerns, please reach out to us and let us know.
