As an Audit Senior, you will interact with clients directly to discuss field audit issues. Not only will you work independently, but you’ll also collaborate with a diverse group of talented audit professionals.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Interact with clients gathering information, resolving problems, and providing recommendations for process improvements
- Apply accounting principles to analyze financial information and prepare accurate workpapers for accounting and auditing engagements
- Research and analyze financial statements and audit related issues
- Perform other duties as needed on engagements and as assigned
- Provide excellent timely client service, deliver high quality work, and strengthen client relationships
- Effectively work in a virtual environment
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment
- Mentor and coach staff level co-workers as needed
- Learn and uphold the firm’s expectations for work quality and professional development as well as the firm’s cultural and core values
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of public accounting audit experience
- CPA or CPA candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- Working knowledge of GAAS, GAAP, and other professional standards and regulations
- Participate in firm-wide initiatives and ongoing education opportunities including CPE development
- Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
